Responsibilities: Serves as the administrative assistant to the Vice Provost for Faculty and Strategic Initiatives; processes grade appeals; oversees faculty grant award budgets; prepares and organizes processes related to commencement, new faculty orientation, foundation awards (Outstanding Teaching and Career Achievement), fall faculty meeting, promotion and tenure reception, and provides support for accreditation on-site visits and administrative searches.

Responsibilities: Manage and ensure fairness in the investigation and timely resolution of alleged academic misconduct. Maintain academic integrity database and prepare data analysis each semester. Maintain communication with faculty and students on issues of academic integrity. Develop academic integrity policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: Advise, counsel and collaborate with the Office of the Provost to lead MTSU’s strategic initiative to grow online education. Collaborate and work with others including vice presidents, deans, chairs, program coordinators and faculty to eliminate barriers and lead the way to grow online at MTSU. Lead and manage MTSU Online. Ensure appropriate support structures are in place to advance the work of faculty engaged in online education. Meet regularly with members of the Provost Cabinet to set goals, priorities, and resolve problems. Attend Deans and Directors meetings and other meetings as required as the institution’s spokesperson for the development of distance education. Collaborate with Academic Affairs, ITD, Walker Library, the Center for Teaching and Mentoring, and the Office of Student Success to support faculty and staff development initiatives throughout campus. Work closely with the Office of Marketing and Communications to ensure there is a coordinated and effective plan for MTSU’s distance education initiatives.

Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the Engage program; have overall responsibility for and provide leadership for the program’s foundation and major pathways and certified graduate programs; coordinate faculty development activities; develop and lead faculty trainings; oversee the Engage office and staff to ensure implementation of the various initiatives supporting engaged learning in courses carrying the Engage designation. Determine how to use program resources to support faculty in meeting their goals for teaching and to facilitate engaged learning experiences for students. Ensure that the program provides quality experiences for students and faculty. Collaborate with stakeholders across the university and communicate the program’s accomplishments.

Responsibilities: Implement the mission, vision, and goals of the reimagined center, ensuring alignment with university goals; provide leadership to all center staff; develop and sustain campus and community partnerships to support professional growth for faculty and Academic Affairs staff; facilitate strategic and long-range planning; plan, request, and monitor budgets; develop and present annual reports summarizing the center’s activities; develop and implement strategies to increase faculty and staff use of the center’s services; oversee evaluation and assessment of center services, programs, etc.; ensure alignment with national trends and best practices for teaching, learning, mentoring and professional growth; develop and maintain regional and national connections with relevant organizations; assess and oversee grant-writing and fundraising opportunities to support the center; direct the center’s marketing and social media presence; serve as liaison to the Provost’s Office on all matters relevant to the center.
